You own outcomes
You notice what needs to be done and follow it through – whether that's following up with a patient who's dropped off, revising and tightening up a plan of care, or solving a problem before someone has to ask.
You're driven to keep improving
You're intrinsically motivated to get better. You seek out and absorb feedback, seek mentorship, and pursue learning because you care not only about mastering your craft, but also learning new things.
You communicate clearly and confidently
You can connect the dots for patients, explain your thinking simply (in patient friendly language), and help people understand why your recommendations matter.
You thrive in a small, high-trust team
You like working with people who care, collaborate, and hold a high bar for standards. You pitch in, share ideas, and treat teammates with respect.
You want time and space to be an excellent clinician
You became a PT to think deeply, to solve complex neuromuscular problems, and deliver meaningful care – not to race between patients while maximizing insurance billing codes and hoping for the best.
You're looking for a low-responsibility job where you can coast
You tend to wait to be told what to do instead of taking initiative
You avoid feedback or have a hard time implementing it consistently
You only fully engage when a patient fits your "ideal" case
You enjoy and prefer speed and volume over depth and follow-through
You're uncomfortable having direct, honest conversations with patients about expectations and value
What this role looks like on a day-to-day basis
You'll treat clients 1-on-1 for the full 60 minute session (no double-bookings)
You'll thoughtfully develop and progress individualized plans of care
You'll own your caseload, including following up with new patients or patients who fall off
You'll communicate clearly with patients about their condition, plan, and expectations
You'll help patients stay consistent and complete their plan of care
You'll communicate the value of care and help patients understand their investment
You'll document thoroughly and on time, with attention to detail
You'll contribute to a high-end, thoughtful patient experience from start to finish
You'll participate in team learning, collaboration, and ongoing improvement
This is a role with a high level of autonomy and trust, not a checklist-driven role. You’ll be expected to take full ownership of your patients, your outcomes, and your growth as a clinician.

After years spent in "traditional" healthcare and physical therapy clinics as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Maddie was tired and frustrated with not being able to actually get to know clients, tired of being asked to always add more people to her schedule, tired of not being able to focus on each client's concerns, and frustrated with being asked to unethically maximize insurance billing codes. She decided that there had to be a better way to get her clients better, more efficient, and longer lasting results while actually getting to know them, their families, and their goals.
In 2020, we set out to build a physical therapy clinic that actually "works" to not only fix the surface problem, but to actually get people back to what they want to be doing for the long term – all without things like surgery, painkillers, injections, or crazy procedures.
